Opal Transportation was founded by a team of dedicated professionals with a combined 16 years of hands-on experience as Class A commercial drivers. Before launching the company, the owners spent their careers behind the wheel—hauling freight across state lines, navigating tight delivery schedules, and experiencing firsthand what makes transportation companies succeed or fail.

After years of working within large carrier systems, they noticed a recurring issue in the industry: a disconnect between dispatch decisions and real-world driving conditions.
